Randy Hyde
Randy founded Renaissance in 1999 after working for several other well-known rug companies in Portland. He has over 30 years of experience working with oriental and area rugs wholesale, retail, and cleaning. Randy gets around for a rug cleaner, trips to Turkey, Iran, and most recently Afghanistan. Randy has been working as a technical consultant in Afghanistan to improve carpet production with ACEBA (AfghanistanCompetitiveness of Export-Oriented Businesses Activity)
Val Hyde
Val and Randy Meet working in the rug trade. Yes, it's a rug love story. Val has over 30 years in the rug trade from hand repair to administrative work. Most businesses have their superwoman meet Val. When not working Val can be found weaving textiles on one of her many looms making all sorts of things from rugs to scarfs.
